Taylor Swift is not only leading all nominees for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, but she also could break her own record.
Swift has been nominated for 10 awards at this year’s VMAs, which celebrate artists whose cultural impact and work during the last 12 months have revolutionized the music industry and sparked global conversations. She is looking to continue her record-breaking streak for Video of the Year and shatter her own record to become the only artist to ever three-peat and win five times in the coveted category.
Post Malone, Swift’s “Fortnight” collaborator, follows her with nine nominations. Ariana Grande, Eminem, and Sabrina Carpenter both were nominated for six awards, followed by Megan Thee Stallion and SZA with five each, and LISA, Olivia Rodrigo, and Teddy Swims with four.
Fans can vote for their favorites across 15 gender-neutral categories now through August 30, on vote.mtv.com. Voting for Best New Artist will remain open into the show. The 2024 VMAs will air live on Tuesday, September 10 at 8/7c, from UBS Arena.
